1853 cover to Niagara County, U S A with a 6d yellow, good to very large margins, tied by a crisp barred ‘26’ numeral cancel of SHEDIAC with a JA 15 1853 dispatch cancel on the back. A St John JA 16 transit and red PAID 10 tax marking are on the front of the cover. A fine cover from Shediac, a very scarce origination. B.P.A. 1974 certificate.
