1942 coloured picture post card (War planes flying over a village) that has been sent back to Japan by a soldier in the 19th Field Motor Transport Depot of the JAPANESE NORTH AUSTRALIA FORCE. This unit was based in New Guinea with a view to an impending invasion of the Darwin area. A coded ‘KEN 11506’ is on the card. A very rare item from this unit.
