1850 wrapper to Newcastle, England, endorsed 'Per Phonecian' with a fine four margined 3d yellow-green on bluish to grey wove paper (SG42) tied by a barred canceller of SYDNEY. A red ‘crown’ SYDNEY NEW SOUTH WALES DE 19 1850 c.d.s. is alongside. On the back are London 22 AP 51 transit and Newcastle On Tyne AP 23 1851 arrival cancels. Slight faults to the wrapper edges but a very fine example of this stamp on a letter. Palmer census No. 309. Brandon Certificate.
