1860 outer wrapper to Auckland (?) written in M?ori that has RUSSELL AU 2 1860 and AUCKLAND AU 13 1860 datestamps. A small nick at the top but an extremely early letter written by a Maori in their native language, possibly one of the earliest recorded.
