1944 6d on 1/- P.O.W. air letter card to London sent from MILLERS FLAT 29 AP 45. The SIX PENCE overprint is 28mm (Scott & Startup Type 7, No. 138 in their listing, the latest recorded use of this overprint.) A NEW ZEALAND ARMY BASE P.O. 18 MAY 45 datestamp is on the back.. There appeared to be at least four different printings of the red 6d overprint as lengths of this overprint known are 25mm (the first), 26mm, 27mm and 28mm. Fine.
