1855 wrapper initially addressed to Auckland but then redirected to Wellington with a ‘crown circle’ PAID AT NEW PLYMOUTH h/s. On the front of the wrapper is a ‘2’ h/s and, on the back, a NEW PLYMOUTH JA 15 1855 dispatch datestamp. An Auckland JA 26 1855 arrival cancel is on the front of the wrapper which then went back to New Plymouth (FE 12) before going to Wellington where it was received on FE 21 1855. An interesting wrapper with character.
