OIL RIVERS. 1895 quadruple rate registered cover to New York with a 1/- paying for a letter of between 1½ and 2 ounces at 2½d per ½ ounce (10d) plus 2d registration. The stamp has been cancelled OLD CALABAR RIVER MY 6 95. A Registered Liverpool 14 JU transit cancel is on the front of the cover which arrived in New York on June 22 1895. An appealing and rare cover.
