1856 triple rate domestic cover to Bridgetown with a 3d and 6d, each lightly tied by a barred canceller with a DIGBY DE 8 1856 dispatch datestamp on the back. A Bridgetown DE 9 receiving cancel is also on the back of the cover. Only 8 covers are known paying this rare 9d domestic triple rate and only one of those has this 3d and 6d yellow green franking. A rare and appealing cover.
