1881 DELAYED BY FLOODING. 1881 post card sent from Otaru 18.7.14 (1881) with a ½ Sen paying the postage. A red circular cachet ‘DELAYED BY FLOODING’ is on the front of the card along with an Osaka 5.8.14 (1881) arrival cancel. A delay of 18 days. A fine and rare card from this incident.
