1865 cover sent internally to Charlottetown with a 2d, perf 11½ - 12 (SG 28) lightly tied by an oval barred obliterator. A PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND 20 MAY 1865 dispatch datestamp is on the back. 2d was the correct rate for ½oz letters sent within PEI, until the currency changed in January 1872.
