MORETON BAY DISTRICT. 1857 folded outer wrapper to Ipswich from Brisbane with a New South Wales 2d large to clear margins all round tied by a ‘95’ starburst canceller. BRISBANE N.S.W. AP 25 1857 and IPSWICH N.S.W. AP 26 1857 datestamps are on the back. A light horizontal fold well clear of the stamp, otherwise a very uncommon internal Queensland usage during the period that Queensland was part of New South Wales.
