1924 cover to England with a Die III 2d tied by the scarce KAWAMBWA 13 NOV 24 datestamp. An Ndola 15 NOV 1924 transit cancel is on the back. Kawambwa was a very small village in the north-east of Rhodesia, in the middle of nowhere! Over 200 miles north-east of Lusaka, the nearest town of any size was Serenje, 18 miles to the south.
