1911 double rate cover sent registered to the U S A with two Double Head 2d (paying the 4d registration fee) and two 2½d’s (paying the double rate of 2½d per ½ oz) tied by REGISTERED BULAWAYO AU 22 11 datestamps. New York 9.23.11 transit and Philadelphia SEP 24 1911 arrival cancels are on the back. Fine and very unusual, possibly the only 9d Double Head rate cover to the USA with this franking.
