1843 wrapper to St Malo, France, endorsed at the top left’ Post Office / Port Victoria, Mahe / 29 September 1843’. Sent via Reunion with St. Denis 30 OCT 43 and Nantes 1 FEVR 44 transit cancels. A St Malo 2 FEVR 44 arrival cancel is on the back. From the Auguste Duschesne correspondence, this is one of the earlies items known from the Seychelles, with only two known prior to this one. Very fine condition for such a rare cover.
