1915 censored picture post card (German soldiers on camels) endorsed ‘ On Active Service’ written from Gibeon on April 15th, two days after the battle there, but only entering the postal service on 9th May where it received a fine blue boxed Field Post Office ‘31’ 9 MAY 1915 cancel. Putzel attributes this Field Post Office ‘31’ to AUS at that time.
