1916 incoming cover from Geneva, Switzerland, that has had the stamp either removed or it has fallen off, and the cover has been taxed with a ‘T’ tax mark and a superb 5d due h/s. To pay this a Transvaal 5d postage due stamp has been affixed and cancelled on arrival LUDERITZBUCHT 9 SEP 16. An extremely fine and rarely seen commercial cover with this Postage Due stamp, the 5d paying the double deficiency of 2½d, which was the postage rate from Switzerland.
