1812 (Jan 7) folded letter to London with a fine strike of the ST KITTS JY 1 1812 fleuron canceller. The letter also has a addendum dated Jan 17th and has a m/s ‘copy’ on the first page. This letter could well have been sent 6 months later than when written as the previous letter had been ‘lost in transit’. A manuscript 2/- is on the front of the letter. A fine and very scarce and unusual item.
