1944 censored picture post card (Beach at Vigie) to England with a block of four ½d’s, paying the 2d post card rate, cancelled CASTRIES 26 AP 44. The card was censored twice, by the St Lucia examiner I.T.T. / 6 and then by the military censor No. 9000 where it also received a censors’ signature. The octagonal I.T.T. / - censor handstamp was used for post cards. Tweddell only records 10 examples known.
