1896 2d registered envelope to England with a 2½d on 1d added to pay the postage, that originated from CHATEAUBELAIR with a cancellation of SP 3 96 at the lower left of the envelope. The stamp was cancelled at KINGSTOWN SP 4 96, the following day when transiting through there. Chateaubelair is a fishing village on the west coast of St Vincent. Cancellations from there are rare.
