1940 double censored cover to New York, endorsed Surface Mail and sent at the 2c rate, cancelled KHARTOUM 21 DEC 1940. The cover was censored in Sudan and resealed with SUDAN CENSORSHIP ‘9’ tape which has been tied by a PASSED CENSOR SUDAN ‘9’ h/s. It was censored again with P.C.90 tape affixed at the right of the cover. (Possibly Bermuda censor?) Fine and uncommon.
