1916 On Active Service bilingual post card to Port Elizabeth cancelled by a fine strike of the rare F. P. O. No. 335 2 JUN 16 datestamp. The writer says he is at Kalindini but this F. P. O. was at Moshi from 2nd June to 14 November 1916. This card is the earliest date recorded for this F. P. O. and is one of only two known, the other being on the 14th November. A very rare item from this village just south of Mt Kilimanjaro. (The writer says he can see the snow on the mountain !)
