1908 BOULEVARD LAKE, THUNDER BAY, ONT. CANADA. Paquette Dam was built near the estuary of the Current River. In May 1908 heavy rains fell and shortly before midnight on 27th May a 20ft high wave of 200 million cubic feet of water began surging down the Current River Valley. The Paquette Dam collapsed and washed away the railroad. The train plunged into the swollen Current River killing five people. Only two items are recorded from this incident. This cover
