1918 FIRE ON PARIS – BRUSSELS TRAIN. A picture post card to Belgium cancelled Besancon 20 12 18 that was on the Paris to Brussels train that had a fire on board on the 21st or 22nd December. Little detail is known as to what happened but the mail received a violet two line cachet ‘CORRESPONDENCE RETARDEE / PAR SUITE D’UN INCENDIE’.
