1959 scorched cover and explanatory letter that was on the Canadian eastbound Super Continental train that left Winnipeg on 18th December. A fire broke out in the mails and the train was instructed to proceed to Minaki, 245 miles east of Winnipeg where local fire fighters extinguished the blaze. A covering explanatory note was sent to the recipients of the letters. This cover was posted at Saskatoon on 15 December. Uncommon.
