1885 cover to Cape Town with a pair of 1d’s tied by a numeral ‘6’ in three concentric circles. CHRISTIANA SEP 4 85 dispatch and Cape Town SP 9 85 arrival cancels are on the back. The original letter from Christiana is with the cover. Fault to one stamp but a fine ‘proving’ cover for this numeral.
