1880 cover to Clevedon, England, endorsed ‘Via Kimberley’ with a pair of 1d’s, a 4d and 6d, paying the 1/- rate, tied by numeral ‘1’ cancels of Pretoria. A blurred MY 6 80 dispatch and a Cape Town MY 11 80 transit cancels are on the front of the cover, on the back is a Clevedon JU 5 80 arrival c.d.s. Minor imperfections but a fine franking to make up the 1/- rate.
