1875 folded outer wrapper to Pretoria from Marthinus Wessel Stroom, with an 1874 6d bright ultramarine, Otto printing, fine roulette 15½ - 16, left pane position 19, tied by a circular numeral ‘10’ with an M. W. STROOM Z.A.R. JUN 26 75. datestamp at the left. A Pretoria arrival cancel is on the back. This is cover #62 in the Jorgenson census. An extremely fine item, ex Burrus (1964) and Drysdale (2006).
