1884 envelope to Spring Hill, Pa. USA with three 1d’s (SG 171) and three 3d (SG 173) ,paying the 1/- rate, each stamp tied by a ‘1’ in concentric circles, with a PRETORIA FEB 19 84 datestamp beneath. Cape Town FE 27 and New York MAR 30 84 transit cancels are on the back of the cover. A red 2½d handstamp was applied in Cape Town. A fine and rare cover to the U.S.A. Holcombe1996 certificate.
