1868 folded letter to France with a 1d crimson – lake, Perf 11½ x 12, tied by a barred ‘1’ canceller. A handstamp ‘10’ marking and a boxed GB / 1F 60c are on the front of the letter. On the back is a TRINIDAD JY 9 1868 dispatch cancel and London 29 JUL, Bordeaux 29 JUIL and Aigre 30 JUIL 68 transit cancels. A fine item, this stamp seldom seen on cover.
