1898 cover to England, sent by the Rev Martin Hall and initialed at the lower left ‘M H’ with a 4 Annas and a British East Africa 2½a, tied by a blue MOMBASA 10 SE 98 datestamp. The 4a also has a blue crayon ‘cross’ cancel. Zanzibar 16 SP 98 transit and Birmingham OC 16 98 arrival cancels are on the back. Minor cover faults do not detract from this rare item. Ex Krieger.
