1898 cover to England, written in the hand of the Rev. Ernest Miller with a 4a and a British East Africa 2½a, the 4a with the variety ‘SMALL ‘o’ IN POSTAGE’. The 4a has been cancelled by a blue crayon cross, the 2½a with a MOMBASA 6 NO 98 datestamp. A Rice Lane Liverpool 27 NO 98 arrival cancel is on the back. The small ‘O’ in ‘POSTAGE’ occurs on stamp No. 9 on each pane. A very rare cover with this variety. Ex Dunstan.
