1867 cover sent registered to Bradford, England, endorsed ‘via Marseilles’ with two 2d and six 6d (three singles and a strip of three) paying a 3/4d rate. The stamps have been cancelled by barred cancels with a MELBOURNE AP 27 67 dispatch cancel on the front. An oval ‘REGISTERED’ h/s and London 12 JU 67 transit cancel are on the front of the cover. On the back is a Bradford JU 15 c.d.s. The 2nd 6d at the top has the major variety ‘VICTORIA DOUBLE PRINT. This was only found on position 9 in a sheet of 120 in the Robinson Printing. The left 2d and the upper right and lower left 6d have faults. This does not detract from this being a very rare cover with the ‘VICTORIA double print.
